There are many free photograph editing programs available that can re-size your images, we recommend Picasa it's free and simple to use. If your software asks you about JPG compression it should be set to no lower than 90%. Don't forget to include details of the walk the photos were taken on.
When dealing with photos for submission as wallpaper or screen-saver purposes, please send in the high resolution image (minimum 2048 x 1536), but limit it to 1 photo per email, it would be better to use dropbox though. Please do not send in photos where people are easily identifiable, countryside views are best.
