1) Elections of Committee

1. Paul Lauter was re-elect as Chairperson
2. Rebecca Smith was elected as Vice Chair
3. Stephen Lait was re-elected as Group Secretary
4. Matt Mills was re-elected as Treasurer
5. Chris Lightfoot was re-elected as Walks Co-ordinator
6. Andy Stapleton was re-elected as Social Co-ordinator
7. Thanks was given to Paul Spokes for the work he had done as vice chair in the past years

2) Treasurers Report – The treasurers report was received and approved with one minor amendment.

3) Walking Weekends – It was agreed that walking weekends would continue in 2012. The spring weekend would be in the Peak District led by Paul Spokes. The Autumn weekend would be in the Hadrian's Wall area and led by Andy Bye.

4) Walks Programme for 2012 – The first 6 months of walks for 2012 were discussed with many walk dates filled. [actions following meeting] The web site has been updated with these walks details. Please can you check the information is correct and fill in any gaps. We are still looking for Walk Leaders for a number of our walk dates. A futher walk planning meeting will be held in March/April.

5) Any Other Business

1. Funding for group – It was noted that we were not receiving any funding from Area. It was asked that we investigate accepting donations on the LWWF walks as a method of bringing in extra funding. [Action] Treasurer to investigate.
2. Socials – Chris Lightfoot asked that if anybody would like to have a go at running a social to please contact him, he will provide all guidance needed.
3. OS Maps – It was noted that our walks database contains routes in Tracklogs format only. It was asked if we could publish them as graphical OS based maps so everybody could see them. It was explained that OS maps were copyrighted. It was asked if we can check if Ramblers have anything in place that would allow us to use OS maps for walk route database. [Action] Chairperson to investigate.
4. Isle of Wight Holiday – Stephen has suggested a group holiday in the Isles of White. It was requested that we would need to know minimum numbers and price before this could be decided on. It was also suggested that people wanting to go should pay in full up front when saying they would like to attend, to reduce the hassles caused by people changing their mind at last minute.
