Our biggest turn out so far.

The sun comes out to send us on our way.

That hill in the distance is where we are aiming.

There is a brief mutiny! That hills a long way away, lets forget the walk and just enjoy the barbecue!

The mutiny is suppressed when it is pointed out there is a nice pub at the top of that hill. So we all cross the river Witham.

Onwards.

We start the long climb up the hill...

It's worth the climb for the view.

... and make it to the top...

...and a well earned rest and cool drink at the promised pub.

Right, lets get back to the barbie.

I would make a comment about who is rushing ahead at the front to get to the food first, but the risk to my life wasn't worth it!!

Just down the road and to the right. I can smell the food cooking already.

Back to The Lincoln Green, Lincoln Road, North Hykeham for the Barbecue.

The maze is thought to be carved by a small cell of monks that lived here in the 13th century. They would have done it on their knees as penitence.
