Nev Cole Memorial Style, near Nettleton.

We climb up into the wolds.

For some great views across the countryside.

Including the Civil Aviaition Authority Radar.

A total change from last weekend, this weekend it is baking hot. Luckily at the top of the hill there is nice cool breeze.

I wonder if the village below will have a welcoming pub to serve us some nice cool drinks on this hot day.

So it does. The Blacksmith's Arms at Rothwell. A few cool drinks later and we are ready to hit the road.

Rolling Wolds Countryside.

Just what we need. Cows Ahead. After our past experiences we wonder whats in store for us.

The cows turn out to be friendly and come over to assist us over the style.

We pick up speed at the sight of some nice cool woods ahead of us.

Dis-used Iron Stone Mine entrance.

We take a break. In this heat breaks are important... and there is some great countryside to look at whilst we cool down.

Walks end. We relax at the end of the walk. Why not join us on the next one?

The maze is thought to be carved by a small cell of monks that lived here in the 13th century. They would have done it on their knees as penitence.
