Some countryside just calls out to be walked.
This walk was part of the Wolds Walking Festival, so we had many more people than our normal walks.
And chairman Paul is back after months away due to injury.
Anyway.. On with the walk....
and straight into some nice woodland.
Our famous road going into the distance shot.
We had an extra bonus on this walk. We bumped into a falconer who gave us a flying demonstration of his Falcon.
The steep climb.
At the top we stop for lunch and enjoy the view.
On the Viking Way.
The Ramblers Church, Walesby.
We have a break, enjoy the church and its views.
Onwards.
We stop to take in the views one last time before leaving the hills behind us for the day.
Back to Market Rasen.
Thanks to Paul for leading this walk.
