We explore the countryside to the south of Branston, taking in Nocton Heath and the village of Potterhanworth. This picturesque area will be a real winter wonderland if snow is on the ground.

- Normal length walk on the flat or over rolling countryside.

- Normal length walk over rolling countryside with a few steep hills to climb or descents.
- Hard:
- Normal length walk over hilly countryside including many steep climbs and descents.
- Very Hard:
- Normal to extended walks over hilly countryside requiring a good head for heights, maybe some easy scrambling involved but nothing dangerous.
