From here we cross the railway line and climb up towards the Viking Way at Somerby. We follow the Viking Way, with views across North Lincolnshire, to Grasby. A gentle descent follows to North Kelsey Moor and finally back to North Kelsey itself. Dogs are welcome on the walk but there are several stiles to negotiate.

Meeting Point / Venue
North Kelsey lies 10 miles north of Market Rasen. It has a long history and is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, when it was called Norchelsie. The former RAF Caistor is mostly within the parish, and the concrete bases of three Thor IRBM launch pads remain.
