Marton is a small Lincolnshire village on the A156. In Roman times, it was a way station, just north of the fort at Torksey, where the Roman road crossed the River Trent. In the centre of the village stands the church of Saint Margaret of Antioch. The building is essentially of the Norman Conquest period.
