After leaving Gringley the walk follows part of the Trent valley way with gorgeous views of open countryside to Hayton and then returning via the Chesterfield canal were hopefully we may see some wildlife. (This is the re-run of the walk that people were unable to attend following the major accident and the road closure that resulted)
