Please note: There are International Horse Trials taking place at Chatsworth House over the weekend of 15th-16th May. If you are visiting just for a day, please allow extra time for travelling as there may be heavy traffic in the Bakewell area. If you are planning to stay over the weekend then please book your accommodation ASAP.

Walk Difficulty Gradings
- Very Easy:
- Short walk on the flat or with an occasional incline.
- Easy:
- Normal length walk on the flat or over rolling countryside.
- Medium:
- Normal length walk over rolling countryside with a few steep hills to climb or descents.
- Hard:
- Normal length walk over hilly countryside including many steep climbs and descents.
- Very Hard:
- Normal to extended walks over hilly countryside requiring a good head for heights, maybe some easy scrambling involved but nothing dangerous.
