A 9 mile linear joint walk with the Penistone Line Partnership from Dronfield to Chesterfield.
Depart Lincoln 08.27, Saxilby 08.36, Gainsborough Lea Road 08.49 to Sheffield then change for the 10.05 to Dronfield.
All welcome. Walk is free but train fares apply.
Meeting Point / Venue
Lincoln Central is now the only station in Lincoln, after the closure of Lincoln St. Marks in 1985. The station building was designed in 1848 for the Great Northern Railway by J H Taylor.

Walk Difficulty Gradings
- Very Easy:
- Short walk on the flat or with an occasional incline.
- Easy:
- Normal length walk on the flat or over rolling countryside.
- Medium:
- Normal length walk over rolling countryside with a few steep hills to climb or descents.
- Hard:
- Normal length walk over hilly countryside including many steep climbs and descents.
- Very Hard:
- Normal to extended walks over hilly countryside requiring a good head for heights, maybe some easy scrambling involved but nothing dangerous.
