This page contains extra information and changes on how we operate due to the Covid-
We have to limit the number of people can join us on the walk so they are no longer “just turn up” instead all walks will need to be pre-
The days before the walk
- You need to book on to the walk. Numbers are limited. If you can no longer attend a walk you are booked on then please cancel your booking to allow others to attend instead.
- Please check the website regularly for any updates or cancellation announcements.
- If your mobile supports the NHS Covid-
19 Test and Trace App, we recommend installing it.
Morning of the walk
- Check the website for any last minute updates.
- We recommend bringing a face mask and hand sanitizer with you.
- If you feel unwell in any way at all, then you must not join the walk.
Start of walk
- At the start of the walk, the walk leader or a committee member will take your contact details for the Track and Trace register. This is a legal requirement.
- The walk leader will give you a summary of the walk along with any hazards.
- If your mobile supports the NHS Covid-
19 Test and Trace App, please activate its scanning feature.
During the walk
- Please follow all advice and guidance provided by the walk leader.
- There may be gates and styles on walks that other people will have touched. Therefore we would recommend using hand sanitizer before eating food, touching your face etc.
